Russia needs a big bloody nose. The longer it goes on the more likely they’ll eventually learn-didn’t help them in Afghanistan. It is a paranoid nation with a very bloody history. Ukraine is closer than Afghanistan and everyone is European. They’ll have a harder time accepting the costs. There were no cell phones in Afghanistan pre-1990.
And to think that not long ago we trusted the Daily Mail for some kind of accuracy about events our own media wouldn’t report!

The US MRE’s (aka Medium Range explosives) have been good. Every time I visited areas of the world with questionable food, I would bring MREs with me.
