Russian soldiers in Ukraine are refusing to follow orders, sabotaging their equipment and accidentally shooting down their own aircraft, one of Britain's top spies will claim.
The shocking revelations paint a picture of a shambolic invasion which has seen Vladimir Putin's forces get bogged down by staunch resistance.
Sir Jeremy Fleming, the head of the signals intelligence agency GCHQ, said Putin has "massively misjudged" the situation in Ukraine and his cyber warriors could now look to attack countries who oppose Russia.
In a rare address, taking place in Australia, Sir Jeremy said: "We've seen Russian soldiers - short of weapons and morale - refusing to carry out orders, sabotaging their own equipment and even accidentally shooting down their own aircraft.
"And even though we believe Putin's advisers are afraid to tell him the truth, what's going on and the extent of these misjudgements must be crystal clear to the regime.

Russians have always moved forward this way, through terror and spreading terror, because they know the capitalists cannot fight for rubles (no pun intended on the currency). The Russian orc psychopath in Moscow actually loves this crap, to fight for burned down hills instead of promised loot or riches, because he draws his own glee from the emotional pain and not from the gain.
Would Western troops continue fighting nevertheless in such conditions? There would be uproar from the public snd we would pull out faster than an Afghan speedy gonazles Biden debacle.
The relevant important thing to understand is the extent of these activities within their ranks. If it is even a debilitating 10-20%, the point is their troops are still pushing where ours probably would not.

They’re not “on the side” of the Ukrainians fighting against the invading commies.
They are fair-weather fans because they know the decent people of the world oppose the Russians and want to fake being reasonable.
It’s all utter nonsense propaganda.
Two days ago they had Russkies with 17,000 DEAD. That would be 10% of the army, with a wounded -to-kill ratio of four, that would mean . . . there is no Russian army in Ukraine.
This stuff is beyond silly.
All I know is that I see towns in Ukraine totally destroyed!

Russia has a millennia long standing culture of “legalized” theft - as long as you do not steal from the wrong person - no problems.
Military funds have been continually embezzled by the officers, even to stealing their troops rations and feeding them dog and cat food.
Lots of nukes, likely in questionable states of maintenance, if any - a large percentage could be duds like their missiles and arty shells. It would not be surprising if some of the fissile material has been stolen from some of the nukes.
I think that is not true based on the amount of materials and effort that were put into it.
