I did not think nor say Rock’s joke was funny rather that the relative class and humor of the past is lost. Will seemed to though judging from initial reaction.

The class of the past is just class these people don’t have it. I won’t say it’s lost. The people I know have it. It’s missing in Hollywood on stage for now. I will not let them win and say it’s gone.

You can’t have humor in authoritarianism. It’s oppressive. By definition. It will get you to believe it is here to stay. Nothing is.
