Yes, she killed her classmate in a car crash. Likely drunk driving. Funny how the media never asked about it.
What a lily-livered, pandering little skunk.

A terrible fateful accident indeed...
Mrs. Bush had driven through a stop sign and hit the car of her classmate Michael D. Douglas, who died at the scene.
However, Mrs. Bush’s biographer, Ronald Kessler, wrote that she had not been drinking that night (she had never drunk, as she was only seventeen at the time, according to him) and the intersection where the accident happened was already notorious for being an accident blackspot.
It had no lighting whatsoever and no “stop ahead” advance warning sign.
Furthermore, most cars in those days (1963) had no seat belts or other safety features, even steering columns were not collapsible, dashboards mostly had sharp metal edges or protrusions (they looked elegant, but could turn deadly in a crash)

In any case, it seems to have been a dreadful coincidence
:-(
However, I think that later, during her husband’s presicency, she could have spoken out in favor of those unfortunate Americans whose lives were irrevocably changed for the worse by the effects of illegal immigration.
But, as far as is apparent, she remained silent.
My my twenty years later....
