So there were incoming calls...but not for Trump. Don't we know texting was going on during those hours and so what if Trump was using a phone. I doubt very much if it was a burner phone. Not his style.
I think a lot of people might be surprised by what really happened. Trump was speaking ant the rally for a portion of that time, maybe three hours. Got back to White House and was told what was going on in Capitol. Started to make some phone calls but was told by his people and his lawyers to stop, don’t do anything.
This is why the White House turned over the records so easily. Trump was taken off the phone and lied low. But CNN has to have a story so they come up with this burner phone idiocy and Watergate style wiping of the record.
