An eighth Russian colonel has been killed in Ukraine in another devastating blow to Vladimir Putin's faltering invasion which has seen the loss of many high-ranking officers.
Kyiv said it had 'eliminated' Colonel Denis Kurilo, commander of the 200th separate motorised rifle brigade, who led Russia's bloody assault in Kharkiv where he was killed in battle.
The brigade had suffered massive losses in the fierce fighting, the Ukrainian army's press office said.
A picture of Kurilo was shared with a red X through it to announce his death.
Two battalion groups in the 200th brigade were destroyed, with a staggering loss of 1,500 servicemen, Ukraine has claimed.
The colonel is the latest in a long line of slain Russian military leaders, which experts say betray the Kremlin's blundering tactics in the brutal invasion.
It has also been revealed today that Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Dormidontov was killed last week as his funeral was held in Russia today.
A source in the Tatarstan region of Russia said: 'Commander of the rocket artillery division, Lt-Col Dmitry Pavlovich Dormidontov, died while on duty,' said an account.

While just an “aside” in the bigger picture, I am aware of at least a half dozen teams in abc’s over the past 6 years, which have had significant “run-ins” with the proverbial low “IQ” Vindmans (and I don’t buy into “IQ” anything), and that was mostly before their insertion and involvement at Whote House NSC*

The Vindmen insertion was largely suspected or known before the THIRD leftist effort/push to force a Coup’d’etat ouster of the Trump Administration, utilizing false ZELENSKY/TRUMP PHONE CALL information, when Zelensky and Trump were both going after very real, and long standing criminal DCM (KGB/FSB SOP of *Destabilization by Corruptive Means/Methods of foreign governments and assets), within Ukraine.
Zelensky (a Jew) was overwhelmingly elected by roughly 70% of the vote in the 2019 Ukrainian election, specifically to try and end long standing DCM, and its direct subsequent impoverishment of Ukraine.
However, Zelensky was elected within a rare Ukrainian atmosphere, where Trump’s US SoS had attempted to crush DNC corruption within Ukraine.
Additionally, while he was threatened in advance, Zelensky literally stood on the world stage against the ENTIRE US DNC effort to bring down President Trump in their THIRD coup’d’etat effort. Zelensky also immediately had a meeting with German Chancellor Merkel (who was also recruited by the KGB), to try and get her to stop Nordstream 2 (which was Trump’s policy effort). Interestingly, Komsamol — the Young Communist organization HQ’d in Moscow, (which actually consisted of ages 13 up to 29 years olds, [not 16-26 as widely circulated], with its parent organization having been the Communist Party of Soviet Union, is still funded by Communist International organizations, and multiple socialist parties within current Russian government, including *Novorossiya*.

Russia isn’t a model for the Christian West? All I see is a west mired in perversion, decadence and toxic ideologies. Consider the following: Putin and his predecessors in the Russian government financed, designed, built and celebrated the resurrection of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (The original of which was blown up by Stalin in 1931 ). This beautiful achievement is one of the largest new churches to be built in the last 200 years anywhere in the world. Now be honest and ask yourself: Would this federal government, in this age of nihilism and decadence EVER be able create a national monument celebrating the creator? No way. And if any American government even tried the result would be burned the ground by antifa, BLM and democrats. Russia is awake, not woke. They are not ashamed to say the word mother or father and they’re not embarrassed of their Christian roots. Therefore it’s a culture in ascendency. You can’t say the same for America or the west.
