What possible incentive would Kiev have to attack a random population center in Donetsk? I can see a Russian false flag operation to stir up anti-Kiev sentiment, but what would Kiev possibly gain?
If Russia insist on stealing Ukraine territory then the Ukes may as well leave the land a smoldering ruins, with hopefully radiation to last 100 years.
There are plenty of photos available, some falsely used to portray a “Russian bombing of Kiev”.
The ugliest part of the bombing is that the Ukrainian trolls were gathering the rally of military wives at the time on location.
The missile was shot down by the defenses and failed to hit the target, but one of the cluster canisters fell near the bank killing some 20 people.
No scarring of the pavement. No shrubbery damage.
It was planted.

I’ve tried to keep an open mind from both sides perspective from the beginning.
Yet on this one I don’t really see the reason for the outrage on Russias part. Are they not using artillery to pound Ukrainian cities that refuse to surrender, cities with civilians in them?
So I don’t see a significant difference—except for a military standpoint the Russian city is not being besieged. Still that’s a fairly technical detail I think/guess.
Their emergency vehicle looks like a cheap toy.
