A Florida teacher told MSNBC he worries that he can’t discuss his love life with his kindergarten class after Governor DeSantis signed the parental rights education bill.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Monday signed into law HB 1557, a measure that forbids instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity to children in grades pre-K through grade 3.
The left is angry that DeSantis is protecting children from groomers.
There is no reason why any adult should be talking about gender identity or sexual orientation to 5 year olds.
One Florida teacher said he’s worried that he can’t talk about his partner and personal life to his kindergarten class.

Having been in elementary school in the early 1980s, I couldn’t tell you ANYTHING about my grade-school teachers’ private lives.
They didn’t tell, and if we asked, we would have been shut down.

There seems to be a lot of teachers with some serious mental problems. States need to figure out a way to get rid of these people.

I can’t remember one teacher who ever talked about their personal life, outside of maybe married or not, children or not. Certainly not their love life because the students would have thought that was gross.

Back in the day, in the town I grew up, this guy would have just been disappeared.
That’s not appropriate for any teacher in any grade in any orientation. In the workplace that crap will get you fired on the spot! Straight, gay, since, married, or eunuch. Discussing your personal relationships is not allowed. It may make certain people uncomfortable. If they complain, you’re fired.
The bottom line to getting this into schools is to teach the very young that homos are “normal”.
Face it, all these gender disoriented people are mentally ill and are DESPERATE for some sort of recognition that they’re normal.
That’s all this is about......insecurity and mental illness.
Why would any teacher feel the need to discuss this? By the way the bill does not forbid discussion. PutI think parents should.

Who is their right mind would even need to discuss his love life with ANY class? And who said liberals were in their right mind? A kindergarten kid is not there for sexual instruction as they are not mentally prepared to accept or reason it. They are in the beginning stage of the alphabet and basic math skills so they can retain the tools to be educated.

I had teachers who would occasionally mention something from their personal life such as a funny story about a pet or even a kid, but “love life” stuff was never mentioned and we didn’t really want it to be.
Um,, why the hell would you be speaking about your love life to kindergarteners in the first place? Regardless of your sexual perversions?
These people are just sick. They know they have the best chance when the kids are young to indoctrinate them into their perversions.. it is sickening.
