Who benefits?
Parallel example: Russians open civilian exit corridors from Mariupol. This benefits Russians, less civlians, leaving only combatants in besieged Mariupol.
So why would Russians, as loudly pronounced by Western MSM, fire on these civilians leaving the “green corridors?”

In most of the world, outside of flagrant NATO/US propaganda, it’s recognized that the Azov Nazis are firing on the green corridors, lest these combatants lose their civilian human shields.
Azov Nazis, FAR more in numbers than “a battalion” (=1,000 troops more or less), were sent to pro-Russian Mariupol post the 2014 coup, to keep this critical Sea of Azov city under Ukrainian control.
Now, they are trapped by the Russians. If they let their Russian human shields escape, they will be wiped out by the Russians. (On the green corridor escape routes, when operating, Russians are checking “family men” in normal cars for Azov Nazi tattoos. So little of what is happening escapes the propaganda filters. Like the Azov Nazi torture murders of Russian POWs:)
The current propaganda war is simply amazing.
