Has DiSantis priced gas power cars recently?
That is the plan of the powers-that-be. This push to replace ICE vehicles with EV's is just a ruse to force us out of owning personal vehicles. They'll soon force us out of owning EV's as well. The idea is to reclaim space used by personal vehicles - roads, parking lots and garages, infrastructure for selling and maintaining personal vehicles, etc. They want the populace moved into high-rise buildings clustered near their workplaces, and a populace dependent on ride-sharing via public transportation or taxis.
FCS. Call them what they are. Stop aiding the lie. Coal Burners.
Solar on my house is generating 100% of what I need.
How do you achieve that? I still need power from the grid.
Do you have any links to backup this assertion? People want longer range EVs. The only way to reduce costs is by limiting the battery size and range.
Based on the skyrocketing prices of battery materials, I don't see this happening any time soon.
They’re really subsidizing the cars to the tune of 96%???
That just sounds unbelievable, even when it comes to the American government.
That’s the ChiCom strategy.
Build 100s of additional coal fired power plants.
Transition personal transportation to electric.
Save petroleum for military.
I guess it’s because I live in Florida. I still have to pay some minimum “convenience” fees which come out to $33 per month, which ticks me off. But the panels are covering all of my electric. But we aren’t using the AC all that much because it’s been sort of cool the last 3 months. We’ll see what happens in August. And I have a neighbor’s tree throwing shade on my panels for a couple of hours a day so I may have to get that tree trimmed.
So far the best month I've done is August 73.8% free power. At the time I had a gas bill too because I had a gas water heater. But I also had a heavy draining A/C unit too. So this summer ought to be interesting with my variable speed heat pump pulling less power than the old A/C unit, but a hybrid water heater pulling some power (when I used to pull no power to heat the water because it was a gas water heater).
I pay a total of $15.86 to just stay connected (no extra fee for having solar because I don't put power back onto the grid).
Beautiful deductive reasoning there, eyeamok.
The best part is now I don’t worry about conserving electricity. If it’s one degree warmer than I like on goes the AC. Same for the pool pump...on for 8 hours a day.
Me too. I run my variable speed heat pump for my house longer to remove some of the humidity from the house. I also keep the temp range within 2 degrees (it’ll automatically switch from heat to cool without me having to flip a switch).
