Wait til next winter. I predict Germany will crumple.

I take it Germany is different than the United States where power stations are taken offline during winter months for maintenance because the U.S. generates more power in summer months for air conditioning and consumer activities.

Putin should come back and demand payment in Bitcoin.

That would be fun to watch.

(I am kidding…but it would be fun.)

I’m pretty sure Russia will accept gold. Maybe even yuan.

Hopefully they won’t need fertilizer.

Well that is one way to keep the gas flowing.

Well then, I guess the Chinese can buy the gas and Europe will use solar panels and windmills.

Hamsters, too - on their little hamster wheels generating gigawatts of electricity for the Berliners and Parisians.

Keep rooting for your Russian buddies, but the deck is stacked against them.

NATO increasing military spending.
Forward deploying units on Russian border.
Future permanent US Armor coming.

If Russia wants to halt diesel shipments they are allowed to do that. But, they won’t. Because energy is all they have now.

The Future will not be bright for Russian energy. Germany has cut Russian energy by 15 percent already and plan to be completely off Russian energy by end of 2024.

That only applies to Southern states. A lot of Northern states have greater power demand in the winter and it doesn’t actually fall off much in the summer.

Germany will purchase gas from Qatar...Qatar will purchase gas swaps from Russia...the "Qatari" gas will be delivered to Germany via Northstream-2.

Yeah, whatever.

Pointing-out that Russia is a major supplier of something the world desperately needs makes the Russians my buddies?

Keep in mind that the same people who tell you “Russia bad PUTIN IS LITERALLY HITLER Ukraine saints” have been lying to you about everything else for the last two years.

But now you believe everything they say.

He’ll have to let up on regulations so the producers will have enough gas to export.
He just made promises and deals without checking with producers, like promising to export food to make up for shortage caused by conflict. Our farmers have land conservation regulations, high diesel and fertilizer costs, and problems getting parts to repair equipment. They may not produce enough to be able to export more.

Its not regulations. The EU has to build storage tanks. We need more ships to send the gas.

Biden is out of control for the rest of it. He is like a child on steroids in Poland. Humiliating.

Did you see what Russia said about senility?

As is the US. Propane reserves are at an off-the-botton-of-chart historic low. Guess what the number one use of Propane is? Agriculture; grain drying, specifically. Ruh-roh.

My previous house had propane heat.
Mighty expensive.
The last 10 yrs I’ve had nat gas, used to be pretty cheap but starting to go full Brandon.

The future is already bright. China has offered to buy what the EU declines.

The ruble is almost back to its former spot.

India and Pakistan are buying from China, even wheat for the latter.

The petrodollar is history. I am stocking food. You should as well. Russia will be fine.

We use propane too, and it isn’t cheap. No natgas in our area, but our home in Maine is reasonably energy-efficient. Just to be sure, I’ve ordered 2 cords of firewood.
