The Group of Seven major economies have agreed to reject Moscow’s demand to pay for Russian natural gas exports in rubles, the German energy minister said Monday.
Robert Habeck told reporters that “all G-7 ministers agreed completely that this (would be) a one-sided and clear breach of the existing contracts.”

Well then, I guess the Chinese can buy the gas and Europe will use solar panels and windmills.
From Putin: “No pay — no gas.”
“all G-7 ministers agreed completely that this (would be) a one-sided and clear breach of the existing contracts.”
That’s damned funny. /s
Dreams of sugar plum ruble fairies just got dashed in the heads of tbe Pooties.
To slaughter an old adage: “He who passes the gas sets the rules.”
Wait til next winter. I predict Germany will crumple.
“The customer us always right.”
So the G7 can go without gas.
The Chinese will be glad to buy it.
LMAO....Russia lies yesterday are Russian humiliations today.
A**, grass and gas. Nobody rides for free.
So they go without gas, who cares if they freeze to death in the name of Global Warming.
It is april, no gas really does not matter. Perhaps some rolling blackouts, less air conditioning, and a few less days making steel in germany. If it were october it would matter.
Leaning on “contracts” after the bank stole their clients’ money is laughable. I think this is a nice blow to the one world currency for the time being. These crooks would love to be able to steal peoples money without consent (see Trudeau)
You gotta love it, the Germans along with all the other Western Countries have cut Russia off from all their foreign currency reserves, Russia’s only response is to say you want our gas, you pay us in Rubles, Germany comes back and says no.
Good luck with that, especially with China buying up Russia oil and gas.
Lol. Its true China has offered to buy it.
Its not that cold anymore in Europe? Or they just don’t want to cook at home?
Putin is the winner on this one.
March 31st: Today, Putin issued a directive to formalize the new rules by that date.
There is no reasons for the Europeans to worry... they still have some forests, lots of wooden buildings. Plus libraries, paper burns too.
You do know we are buying Russian oil to the tune of a billion/day. Still.
Consent - Consequences
