I think you are on to something here. For 75 years they utterly denied anything about UFO’s and destroyed people who were credible for saying they were real. Now all of a sudden out of the blue with Trump winning they come out with information that yeah, something is there and our military is interacting with it but they don’t dare even entertain the question, what is in these craft?
Were the world to go to hell and they need a savior or scapegoat alien/fallen angels, what have you would be the perfect lifeline to corrupt governments all over the world. They would trash organized religions and say believe only in us, we might be able to save you if you do whatever we tell you to do or these are are our space brothers/creators here to help us save our planet crap.
It is all just highly suspicious that the government does a 180 on UFO’s. For the record I haven’t seen one but know several credible people who have seen unexplainable craft.

No government wants the kind of alarm and disruption that would ensue if the public were told that UFOs are aliens — and not all of them are friendly. Inevitably, some people would arm up and start seeing menace in aircraft landing lights at night. And many would wonder why we spend billions a year on defense yet none of it is of much use against alien abductions.
