Actor Sean Penn said Saturday on CNN’s “Newsroom” that the Academy Awards should be boycotted if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was not invited to speak virtually.
Acosta said, “The Oscars are tomorrow night. Do you want to see President Zelensky speak at the Oscars via some sort of video link? How do you think the ceremony, how the event should recognize what is happening in Ukraine? What would you say, I guess, if you were there up on stage?”

They go from one phony humanitarian or environmental cause to another, while ignoring the real atrocities caused by socialist governments that they support.

Sean Penn, someone worth not knowing or listening to. Go away Sean no one cares what you have to say.

I agree that Zelensky did a great job singing “Let It Go” in the original Frozen movie, but that was years ago. His work in Hollywood this past year has not been stellar.

Well, he has participated in a pretty large made for TV act, plus he could play Yankee Diddle Dandy on the piano with his thang.
Truth is, not too many are interested in Oscars anymore.

Is Zelenskyyyyy some kind of actor up for an award? It would make sense in today’s squewed up world. Who the hell cares what Sean Penn thinks, or even what the Oscars Attendees have to say? Shut up and sing.

Does Penn have any reason to be at the Oscars? Nominee? Presenter? Anything? If not looks like he’s justifying his no-show.

Just how many movies has Zelensky watched?

Maybe Sean needs to see Super Z play the piano with his organ. That seems to be an attraction to leftist and WEFCons alike.

"And finally, I would say that, you know, we are a little bit out of touch in Hollywood every once in a while, I think. It's probably a good thing."
--George Clooney, 2005 Academy Awards acceptance speech.
Yeah, they're out of touch with the world. And they're proud of it because they have only disdain for the general public.

An Oscar boycott is a good idea regardless, so he is partly right however you cut it.
