The key phrase there is "more frequently." That's the whole shooting match.

It's a bit like George Floyd. Many people believe he OD'd and the drugs killed him, ignoring the knee of the incompetent cop on his neck. They go together...maybe Floyd would have tapped out without the cop. We will never know.

Same thing here. Maybe the drugs killed the drummer. Perhaps being vaxxed and boosted weakened his heart to the point where his "usual" mix of drugs that previously made him happy, now combined with all this and killed him.
