Our airy 'just in time' system was a fragile structure based on 'everything working' - - a fine tuned machine. Unfortunately a system is only as strong as it's weakest links - and in this case that was supply chains ... for many reason.
(Need redundant backups or expensive warehouses...or a new system based on 'sometimes things go wrong'...)
