You mean Russian military performed even worse than our military in Vietnam where the viet-cong kicked our azz good and Americans escaped in helicopters from rooftops. How many years was that war?
How about our military could not defeat the camel humpers in Afghanistan and we surrendered Kabul to Taliban? How many years was that war?
Both instances cited in your reply were under conditions of restricted warfare. Had the US military been let off the chain and allowed to execute total war both outcomes would be different.
You mean the war the politicians wouldn't let us win?
We could have won it very quickly if allowed.
... worse than our military in Vietnam where the viet-cong kicked our azz good and Americans escaped in helicopters from rooftops.
The Viet Cong were wiped-out in the ‘68 Tet Offensive.
We had that war won around 1970, and the North Vietnamese were planning to pursue a truce until Jane Fonda, John Kerry and the rest of their ilk talked them into continuing until they could build the anti-war movement here in the US.
That’s by their own admission.
If we had kept our commitments to South Vietnam to provide weapons, South Vietnam would probably still be a free and prosperous country, like South Korea; thank the Congressional Dems for that betayal. The blood of millions is on their hands.
Our military was not allowed to win. They had to fight with both hands tied behind their backs. A pox on their house.
