I heard it took place yesterday. Except nobody has seen it.

Odd for a nation whose military has been destroyed (allegedly), and all that is left is the “mopping up.”

“A Ukrainian official says”
Yep, no reason to read the rest of the propaganda. 🥱

Ukies denied it. That was the Pentagon jumping the gun. They’ve presumably hoovered up a bunch of sigint and visual cues about current battlefield developments on both sides. So far, apart from Milley’s view that Kiev would fall in 72 hours, Pentagon projections have been pretty accurate - including the one that Putin was poised to invade, despite denial after denial by Russian government spokespeople.

No they merely took important territory in Kherson yesterday.
Better tell your Russian military buddies to get out while the gettin is good.
As the Russians begin their retreat to save something in the East, Ukraine could attack and divide the new land bridge from Crimea to the East.
I knew it would be a tough year for Russia when they didn’t get the Hockey Gold.

In fact Putin didn’t deny it, although everybody thought it is unlikely. He made the point that the Ukie attempt to regain Donbas is going to be a red line.

It’s a claim that will be pretty easy to verify in the next couple days.

Russian government spokespeople did. Putin is not his own PR flack. That’s a full-time job in itself for an entire department of people.

I can’t believe how the moronic Ukrainians allow the Russkis in their huddles for each play. “Fullback, sweep left.”

I suppose anything is possible

I guess if Kherson can be taken back, so can Mariupol.
And Crimea, since Putin put everything in play.

Just imagine a couple thousand landing back in the US.
To: rbmillerjr
The land bridge is unassailable. Its all open farmland with some trees planted between farm plots, it would be suicidal to attack.
To: GonzoII
When it’s all over Ukraine will capture some Russian territory too as punishment and claim it was always a part of Ukraine.
