Democrats are proposing to offer drivers cash and rebate schemes to counter President Biden’s record-high gas prices.
Reps. Mike Thompson (D-CA), John Larson (D-CT), and Lauren Underwood (D-IL) last week proposed the Gas Rebate Act of 2022 where American drivers would receive a $100 energy rebate per month for the remainder of 2022.

Why only $100 - wouldn’t $500 be better? Then everyone would be about covered, right?

It’s a tried and true plan that works for Dems. Because the public is just that stupid.

How about government approves pipelines and fracking and quit trying to hand out our money to buy votes.

the simple solution would be to drop the taxes, but the RATS can’t skim the rebate that way...

Meh. I’m very disappointed by that title. Democrats are usually quite good at making up noble names for bad ideas. But the “Gas Rebate Act of 2022” name is bland.
I would have expected something like the “Help Working People Who Are Impoverished By Putin Act of 2022”.

If the U.S. Treasury runs out of paper and ink, we are all doomed.
May I suggest that anyone voted in to Congressional office have at least a crash course in economics and the U.S. Constitution?
Maybe even serve in the military, at least go through BCT?

stupid, borrow and tax more to pay for an inflated price instead of pumping more energy to reduce the price. I swear you can’t make this stupid sh*t up.

How about one year of not collecting any payroll taxes? That should make up for the higher gas and food prices.

Democrats’ solution to every problem: print more money.
Heck, why don’t they just give everyone a million dollars and be done with it?
