Russia is facing numerous setbacks as its invasion of Ukraine heads into a second month.
In the battlefield, Ukrainian forces have managed to push back Russian advances around the west of the capital, Kyiv.
And in the Kremlin itself, one of Russian President Vladimir Putin's top advisers has resigned.

“resigned” - is that what advisers get to do when 1/4 of their country’s ground forces are captured or boxed and ready to ship home within 30 days?
What’s growing is the stench of rotting Russian corpses left behind.

Interesting how they massage some situations, like the apparent lack of progress around Izyum and the holdout of Mariupol. They are closest to accuracy in that respect.
Note the title map is very optimistic vs the later map. Also the later map makes some claims that are way off vs territory, such as about Chernihiv and Sumy. They say nothing about the retreat from Mykolaiev towards Kherson, or the elimination of the columns that bypassed Mykolaiev.
Time is also meaningless.

I heard the Ukraine army was within 10 miles of Moscow, and more important, within 15 miles of the Russian Caspian Sea oil flow of 1.5 million barrels/day. They intend to keep it after Russia surrenders tomorrow at 1100 hours Ukraine time.
