I saw a trend years ago on these “reality” shows. At least one contestant had to be homosexual. Sometimes it was obvious sometimes subtle. I would play a game called spot the “gay guy”.
My guess was usually confirmed later when the “gay guy” would talk about his “husband”.

I was in Orlando visiting my sister the day the news televised the golden shovel breaking ground on the upcoming Disney World construction. My sister and her friends were noodling around the kitchen and they all just sort of said simultaneously “well, there goes the neighborhood.”
