My family and I took a vacation to Walt Disney World in 1991. For 3 years in the seventies, I was a monorail “host”, which means I did anything and everything that had anything to do with monorails, except servicing them. It was my dream job. Back then, the company was still being run by Walt’s vision, even though he was gone. The top management largely all had known Walt personally, and they were dedicated to continue carrying out his original vision and philosophy. That has completely changed in the last 50 years. Walt isn’t even an afterthought with the idiots who are running things now. They should have changed the name of the company years ago, because Walt would not have had any part of the insanity that exists now.
