Biden says Putin is weighing use of chemical weapons in Ukraine, without citing evidence

WASHINGTON, March 21 (Reuters) - Russia's false accusations that Kyiv has biological and chemical weapons illustrate that Russian President Vladimir Putin is considering using them himself in his war against Ukraine, U.S. President Joe Biden said on Monday, without citing evidence.
Putin's "back is against the wall and now he's talking about new false flags he's setting up including, asserting that we in America have biological as well as chemical weapons in Europe, simply not true," Biden said at a Business Roundtable event.
"They are also suggesting that Ukraine has biological and chemical weapons in Ukraine. That's a clear sign he's considering using both of those."

There’s one of those infamous keywords that the MSM used on just about everything Trump said. They used it when it wasn’t true. It was used to delegitimize Trump every day.

It was a Reuters journalist who used the “no evidence” line a bunch of times when demanding the US reveal its sources for how it knows Russia was imminently about to invade, as if the gigantic army on the border preparing to strike wasn’t evidence to consider.

That must be the first time in history that a leftist propaganda pusher has used a phrase like “without citing evidence” when referring to a claim by a democRat.

The truth has never been part of the narrative.
Russia “officially” destroyed the last of its chemical weapons in 2017, and its bio stockpile before that. However, based on their attacks against Putin opponents using nerve gas, it’s quite clear they have residual capabilities. But, based on available info, there are no indications of imminent use. Some of the things we would expect to see:
- Increased collection of weather data
- Dispersal of Russian troops in planned employment areas
- Establishment of decontamination points among Russian units
- Delivery of new personal protective equipment to frontline units and those tasked with delivery
- Heightened security at prospective delivery units; convoys with high security moving from weapons storage areas to employment platforms
Again, based on available data, we have seen none of these indicators. Can the Russians hide this type of activity? To some degree, though I’m guessing with Putin’s “escalate-to-de-escalate” strategy, they would ensure that we saw some of the indicators.
Once again, the war industry complex is banging the drum, and The Adderall Kid is mouthing the talking points. Doubt Joe would know the difference between a blister or a nerve agent, but that doesn’t matter. Russia’s claims about U.S. biolabs are bogus, as are ours about “imminent” chem/bio use
