In 2022, he argues, richer countries must finally make good on their well-worn promise to provide a $100bn a year to the developing world Seems pretty upfront with what he wants. It's just a grift. It's always been a grift.

The "madness" is thinking the Modern Warm Period is any different from the Medieval Warm Period (1,000 years ago) or the Roman Warm Period (time of Christ) or the Minoan Warm Period (time of Moses).
A few centuries from now when we enter yet another cooling period, people will look back and make fun of our global warming fright with the same scorn that we today make fun of people who were gonna pay for their kids' college with beanie babies.

But Antonio Guterres warns that these short-term measures might "close the window" on the Paris climate goals. I certainly hope so.

China will not. It is obvious they will continue pumping out carbon dioxide until the whole world bursts into a burning ball of fire (in ten years, honestly, the government told us so in 1990).
To: Kid Shelleen
“turning” to them? If they weren’t being used then how could the prices be going up and being affected by this war?
To: Kid Shelleen
All those buildings falling down, and fires, and people dying in Ukraine . . .
That’s Climate Change.

The United States of America has more Natural Gas than Saudi Arabia. And that is only the ‘known’ amounts of Natural Gas. Under President Trump we we shipping boatloads of LNG to Europe.
Above, I purposely stated ‘known’ in quotes. We have only drilled a few short miles into the Earth. There are untold amounts of oil, gas, and coal. They are not ‘fossil fuels.’. The more accurate term is hydrocarbons. There are oceans of hydrocarbons on the surface of the moons of Jupiter and Saturn. I sincerely doubt that those hydrocarbons are from fossils, from dinosaurs and savanna.
Biden / Obama and his minions cannot stand the freedom that cheap, reliable energy provides. The scams and hoaxes of Global Warming, Global Cooling, Climate Change, Climate Crisis are all aimed at less freedom, more control, less choice, more government.

There is no such thing as a fossil fuel. Petroleum, yes.

What do you suppose the chances are of China paying heed to little Tony? Approximately zero.

“These people are toxic. Either they have an horrific unspoken agenda, or they are stupid beyond words.”
The two traits are not mutually exclusive. I vote for both, and add to that, evil.
