But they don’t give a poop. People are cattle to them, including their own. They are willing to burn their people like fossil fuel so long as they get what they want.
So keep your “hammer blow” crap to your fiction shelf.
This type of attrition of top planners and executors of forces takes a huge toll, especially in the top-down type of command structure that Russia has. To minimize its effect is not wise.
