COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — The University of Missouri System has paid a $1.57 million settlement to a white former employee who alleged she was removed from her job in favor of a younger, Black woman.

Rachel Brown was 60 when she was removed from her job as associate dean at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.

She alleged in a lawsuit filed in 2017 that she faced age- and race-related discrimination and retaliation.

Brown withdrew her claim of racial discrimination earlier this year, meaning the settlement was for age discrimination and retaliation, according to the Columbia Missourian, which obtained a copy of the settlement through a public records request.

Brown, who was associate dean for student programs, alleged she was removed from her post in 2016 by former Medical School Dean Patrice Delafontaine to “make a change in leadership” not related to her job performance.

Won’t be long now.

I read about some senator in Nebraska wants Americans to pay off student loan debt based on race.

We already have a system where tax dollars go directly through public school teachers’ paychecks to the Dems; “student loan forgiveness will set up the same system for college faculty.

Why remove the race discrimination part? Was it not so?

They didn’t want to set the precedent that Whitey could successfully sue Blacky for racial discrimination.

Only Whitey is capable of racism, don’t you know?

“Why remove the race discrimination part? Was it not so?”

I’m betting is was so, but whites, or should I type Whites?, do not prevail when playing the race card. I imagine it was advised by her lawyers after they had talks with the court.

I could be wrong, there’s a first time for everything...

Brown withdrew her claim of racial discrimination earlier this year, meaning the settlement was for age discrimination and retaliation, according to the Columbia Missourian, which obtained a copy of the settlement through a public records request.

Withdrawing the "race discrimination" was the reason she got the money.

It was race, not age discrimination, but the University could never admit that they fired a white woman to fill a quota.

So the lawyers get $650 K the 'old, white woman' gets around a million and there is peace on earth.

What the hell, it's only taxpayers money.

Rachel Brown was 60 when she was removed from her job...

Her name was Brown, so it couldn't have been racial discrimination.

The University of Missouri has a long proud tradition of manufactured outrage of “racial” incidents that were outright lies.

Whites are starting to prevail against obvious racial discrimination - as well it should be.

Like this recent case:

White farmers win fight against "discriminatory" criteria for federal Covid relief

Twelve farmers and ranchers across nine states filed the lawsuit against the Biden Administration, saying they are not eligible for relief because they are white.

A Texas court recently temporarily halted a program for restauranteurs under the same federal program for the same reasons.

And yes, White with a capital letter - as the media do for all other races - notice it's Black, Hispanic, Asian...but white.

This is done on purpose.
