Adrian Kellgren’s family-owned gun company in Florida was left holding a $200,000 shipment of semi-automatic rifles after a longtime customer in Ukraine suddenly went silent during Vladimir Putin’s invasion of the country.
Fearing the worst, Kellgren and his company KelTec decided to put those stranded 400 guns to use, sending them to Ukraine's nascent resistance movement to help civilians fight back against a Russian military that has been repeatedly shelling their apartment buildings, schools, hospitals and hiding places.
“The American people want to do something,” said Kellgren, a former U.S. Navy pilot. “We enjoy our freedoms, we cherish those things. And when we see a group of people out there getting hammered like this, it’s heartbreaking.”

My first experience with a KelTec pistol was also the first firearm I immediately traded in on something better. That said, KelTec acquired Magnum Research. My wife had a special build similar to a Ruger 10/22 in 17M2 with a fine picatinny rail integral to the receiver and carbon fiber tension barrel. 17M2 was getting hard to find and KelTec didn't want to continue that caliber. At their expense, I sent the rifle to their facility and they converted it to the 22LR carbon fiber tension barrel and correct weight bolt assembly for 22LR vs 17M2. It was even wrapped in a good quality shipping case on return. Ruger level customer service.
The lower image matches our rifles including the one converted to 22LR. Mine was already 22LR.

(Based on what I’m seeing online, it may have been Kahr rather than Kel-Tec that acquired Magnum Research... ;>)

Kahr Arms Purchases Magnum ResearchCorrect. Kahr deserves the praise for the quality customer service. I do own 2 KelTec products today. The Sub2000 9mm and the 22WMR pistol. The pistol is Ok if you don't fill the magazine to capacity. The Sub2000 is a decent backpacking "rifle". A 9mm bore snake covers most of the maintenance.

Kind of amazing that the Patron State of Shooting Stuff, has some of the most relaxed fire arms laws in the nation and one of the lowest murder and violent crime rates to match. You misspelled "logical".
