I expect EOD techs who know how to rig up hillbilly mines (aka IED’s) under time pressure without blowing themselves up would be at a premium. EOD techs have ice in their veins, and understand a thing or two about improvisation.
I hope he is not a freeper... saw the video of him complaining and all I could think. The country can’t even supply its own military. where did he think the supplies that he needed were going to come from...I would not want to be sent in with nothing but if I showed up there like he did it would not Suprise me if they sent me out with no gear but what I had brought with me.
Reminded of an old-World War two movie “barbarians at the gate” in the movie Russian coscripts are unloaded off a vehicle with only one gun between three people and only a hand full of bullets for each conscript. They were forced to charge into battle because behind them stood a machine gun emplacement with instructions to shoot anyone who tried to turn and run.
War is hell and nasty business. War is the last thing any sane person with a brain wants.
You assume the Ukraine Army is still an organized, professional army - to the extent it ever was. That's very debatable. At this point, they may just want bodies. Germany conscripted young boys and old men at the end of WWII.
Also, having Westerners showing up for the fight - and getting killed - is great PR for a Ukraine Government trying to drag NATO into this.
The other possibility is that the story he’s telling in his video is closer to the truth than the Daily Mail’s current transcription of the Ukrainian war office’s daily propaganda.
He implies that the Ukes invited foreign fighters and said they would equip them, but then were unable to, and told guys to go to the front with no weapon, or if there was a weapon, 10 rounds in a magazine.
Oh, and the foreign casualties are not being accurately reported, though why he would think that anyone would do that is maybe indicative of his naivete.

What they could do with is American and British expertise from warfighters who actually engaged the hajis in the sandpit. They learned through experience what haji tactics worked and what did not. Ukrainians have inflicted tremendous damage on the Russians, but US and British combat infantry might be able to teach them some new tricks, courtesy of the men they lost to haji attacks.
(That might help explain why the mainstream media and the uniparty in Congress are so keen on the idea.)

The Soviets did have blocking detachments behind the front lines in WW2 but they usually captured the retreating troops and sent them back to the line. Very few were executed on the spot. Some might be arrested and court-martialed. The purpose of the blocking detachments was to avoid routs. There is no evidence that Soviets machine-gunned their own troops as shown in that movie.

Weapons are far more accurate and lethal today than they were 82 years ago.
The people of both Russia and the Ukraine are losing this war.

10 rounds is MORE THAN ENOUGH for a person to defend himself, according to the people who want WW3.

So far not one killed.
But the real good news is they’re fighting and doing the U.S., Canada, and U.K proud except for Boogaloo B.S. Boy.
And, as a bonus they’re reporting back, posting on Twitter and other Social Media telling us what’s really going on there. Pure and unfiltered reports.
This really upsets members of the Putin Posse because it blows away their conspiracy narrative and I’m sure they don’t want foreigners there.
Soon, American Combat Vets, special operators, snipers will be lumped into being shills for the deep state for reporting the truth, I’m pretty sure.
