Investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald said the same people who pushed the U.S. into war with Iraq and Afghanistan for Republicans are now back to do the same for the Democrats with a war against Russia. Greenwald told FOX News' Laura Ingraham on Thursday that people should be cautious when the two parties are in lockstep when it comes to war because that means there was very little debate and people were coerced. Greenwald also said Russiagate and the hatred and distrust for Russia that was created is one of the reasons why the Russia-Ukraine conflict could not be solved diplomatically. "This is journalism in 2022," Greenwald said. "There are no standards, there are no ethics. A lot of their readers who they write for want them to lie to them or about their enemies as long as it advances the cause." "I think the more interesting question is the fact that you pointed out to, there is very little debate over something this cataclysmic potentially in the U.S. Congress," he said. "I haven't seen the two parties united in lockstep to this extent since the days after 9/11. I think that lockstep unity produced a lot of bad outcomes. It's generally a bad thing."

Please, take this with a grain of salt. I’m trying to remember the source of this, I believe it was linked through Hot Air; yesterday afternoon I was reading something about Jack Posobiec or other vets going over there to help, and it almost appears as if they’re being used to get casualties to try to draw the U.S. and other NATO countries into war. I support the citizens of Ukraine who didn’t want any of this, but something is horribly wrong with all of this, and I don’t trust the NATO countries or the U.N. that are just sitting on their hands at the moment.

Truth be told, I am torn about this.
I am not pro-war or pro-intervention, yet I keep seeing heartbreaking after heartbreaking video on the Tee Vee night after night about the absolute horror going on over there. Man’s inhumanity to man is absolutely brutal.
I also saw last night some firestorm of trucks in Nuevo Laredo last night and absolutely believe we have a responsibility to act there (on our own border). Yet we do not.
As a Christian, as a human, what is one’s responsibility to act here?

The point of what Greenwald was saying, how did Afghanistan and Iraq turn out ??
Both were complete disasters that cost trillions of dollars and thousands of lives, not only US Combat casualties but innocent civilians who had no dog in the fight.
The same people who advocated for the Afghanistan and Iraq wars are now doing the same thing about Ukraine.
Are they advocating for US Troops, some are actually doing that, how many have advocated a US enforced No-Fly Zone which puts US pilots in direct conflict with Russia.
Some of these same idiots are calling for the assassination of Putin, without thinking for one second how Russia would view that and how they might respond.
The problem is, the same people who advocated for two disasters after 9/11 are doing the same exact thing over Ukraine and have not suffered any repercussions over their failed ideas.
Neocons want the GOP back under their control and they think War Fever is the way to do it so of course they support America sticking its nose in someone else’s business.
The videos coming of Ukraine are horrific, but so is the 100,000 young people who died last year from Fentanyl overdoses coming thru the open border with Mexico.
We are sending billions in arms to Ukraine, while have completely opened the border with Mexico.
And anyone who questions the wisdom over escalating the war in Ukraine is considered a traitor.
Vindman and Victoria Nuland should go first. Along with all those hate filled Democratic women and the cultural marxist that got us into this mess. .
Yet, who are these congresscritters who are calling for war with Russia in Ukraine.
I see none. Putin is the warmonger, but prior to his invasion, all of the same Putin apologists told us he was only conducting military training exercises.
I certainly am no apologist for Putin he’s responsible for the invasion.
Is anyone outwardly calling for war with Russia ??? No, they are not, but advocating for Putin’s assassination, US led No-Fly Zone or using a NATO country to fly Mig-29s to Ukraine would be considered acts of war by anyone objectively looking at the situation.
It’s always somebody else’s fault. Putinists behave like children. Nobody forced Putin to invade Ukraine and murder thousands. All those people would be alive today had he not chosen to do that.
