Their goal is not to defend Ukraine — Neo-Nazis see this war as a place to act out their violent fantasies. - For others the force pulling them toward the conflict is shared vision for an ultranationalist ethno-state - They see Ukraine as a golden opportunity to pursue this goal and turn it into a model to export across the world.
Since Azov publicly invited foreign fighters into its ranks Feb. 25, I haven’t noticed this level of movement-wide recruitment activity since the Islamic State declared its caliphate in 2014.
We at SITE, tracking global extremists, have noticed a surge in online activity by white nationalists and neo-Nazis in conjunction with the war in Ukraine.
Western white supremacists and neo-Nazis, for the most part, do not support the current Ukrainian government — Ukraine is a developing democracy, which far-right extremists oppose as contrary to the fascist governments they want to see.
The mobilizers see the Russia-Ukraine war as a major opportunity to advance white nationalism via militancy. - To them, Ukraine is a sandbox for fascist state-building, for the kind of armed far-right power grab they long to see in their own countries.
For the extreme among neo-Nazis, the plan is even more sinister. They see Ukraine as a chance to further “accelerationist” agendas, to speed up a civilization-wide collapse and then build fascist ethno-states from the ashes. - This school of thought is demonstrated by“Slovak,” whom we consider one of the most influential accelerationist neo-Nazi voices in the far right.
“Our job is to ensure that conditions remain terrible enough for long enough for this transformation to happen, and happen it must. Our future is at stake and we may not get another chance, certainly not one as good as this.” Slovak wrote .

Oh no! I so...don’t care.....
Are these Illinois Nazis?
Good grief. I wonder what she thinks about Putin just bestowing the Russian nation’s highest level award, the Hero of the Russian Federation to Vladimir Zhoga, a real Neo-Nazi.
I forgit.
Is the WaPo CIA or FIB?
LOL. A generous helping of bs from your trusty provider.
A free flow of unvetted extremist militants into a conflict always creates problems beyond one country.
Stopped reading after the first sentence, but I did see that WaPoo used the words “far right”. The credibility of media, academia, and talking heads is so burned these days that whenever I hear “far right” or “nazi” it’s like a circuit breaker pops and I stop listening to that person.
Apparently Rita forgot that the Russian government invited thousands of Syrian radical Islamic fighters and terrorists to join the fight with their Army too.
Which is more important - a press release from a group of about 1000 nationalist fighters in one city of Ukraine or the actions of a nuclear armed nation?
Muster up all the neo nazis you can find Wapo. They still won’t do as much damage as antifa. Or inner city thugs.
Looks like Langley to me.
Update on Hoeft - He is in Poland now. He was in the “volunteer” idiot base that got obliterated by 30 Russian cruise missiles.
Those Ukrainian Nazis are identified when they honk their horns.
Like the Canadian truck drivers.
Wow, even the Compost admits there are indeed Nazi’s in Ukraine.
It's not your thread, and while you are posting Putin's talkin points I am posting useful information with links to sources for everyone to read.
Why so emotional? Do you get paid for your work or something?
