Fearless prediction: this guy will win in a walk. Any politician who promises this will win in a walk.
Illegal immigration won’t end until we have a President willing to end it.
i have one question: when Trump was asking for the wall and the gop was in control of congress, where was Rep. Barletta?
I’ve always liked Barletta… He’s old school tough. That’s what we need right now… Old school American tough, someone who’s not afraid to put the country first and our state and OUR citizens first.
We take the governors house… And then we start getting rid of all the rhinos in the Senate and the House in Pennsylvania… One by one, or en made, either way. They Have to become unemployed at this point
Of course that's important, but state and local office-holders can do a lot. For example, enter into Section 287(g) Cooperation Agreements with ICE. Local law enforcement officers receive training and function under the supervision of ICE officers.

Right now ICE will deport no one.
They will refuse to pick up any the locals corral.
Barletta was for it, the leadership and majority were against it.

i just don’t recall him being a firebrand against the leadership that he needed to be to carry Trump’s minimal ask of 50M or so.
nope. don’t get me wrong. i funded Barletta several times during the tea party days. i just found him disappointing through out.

ok you can’t answer an honest question. fine. it was an honest question that plays to the heart of the matter. i remember the fight well for the wall. and i remember the betrayals. and i don’t remember barletta doing anything other than playing back bencher, during the whole thing.
Between Barletta and Mastriano, I’d pick Mastriano every time, but both of them are better people than Corman could ever hope to be. Both of them also have a big problem after the primary because the party establishment in PA is happy to sit on their hands and watch an outsider lose. A statewide race needs statewide organization and neither one has proven he has it ... yet.
Barletta was anti-open borders/illegal immigrant dumping back when he was Mayor of Hazelton.
That was 2000 - 2010 when DJT was still building skyscapers.
Barletta was in Congress at the time and he was for the wall.
He comes from a hard hit town that illegals had Ravaged and when he was Mayor he put strict laws on cracking down on illegal immigration in his city Hazleton.

If anyone is against illegal’s it is Lou. I do know this as I live not far from Hazleton and that city has turned into a Mexican rat hole. It is not safe. It use to be a Italian filled city. Very Family oriented, many great places to eat.
Lou was in Congress until he ran against Bob Casey for Senate and Lost. I am sure Trump wanted him to run for Senate ,though I thought Lou should have stayed in Congress. But that is history.
He then went back to private life as his little grandson who was about 5 got Cancer. So anyone who posts anything negative against him without knowing what his life was like is very ignorant.
This man is a good ,honest family man.

the question was: what did Rep. Barletta do to put pressure on the gope to congressional leadership when they were the MAJORITY to get them to fund the building the wall? hope that was clear.
did he not vote for the leadership for instance?
did he take out ads against the gope like Mo Brooks did?
