When I first heard Putin would send Syrians to Ukraine, I said Oh Shxx. Then I remembered there are a lot of aniti- Assad, and therefore anit-Russia Syrians. Also I imagine that there are Muslim fighters in the Stans that can see the likelihood of a greedy Putin trying to pull them back into the old Soviet alignment. So interesting to see what might result from this cleric’s “permission.”
