Note how Putin defines the “West” and “Russia” separately. They don’t consider themselves Western in any real sense. Russia has always been the wicked sister, looking with jealous envy and contemptuous spite at the prosperous, wealthy Western Europeans (and eventually America too). Unable to join the party, they sought only to damage the West.
Patton was probably right. They seem to be mongoloid in ideology. Always preferring some form of top-down man-god control or corrupt autocracy.
As usual the liberals fail in their attempt to accomplish a goal with a type of misunderstood diplomacy. The actions they are currently taking, which have little if any effect, are the way they have surmised to peacefully make Russia stop an action. Putin is not taking it that way. He considers it an attack and will in time retaliate. And he’ll do it the same way by cutting off our natural gas shipments which he has already done to some European countries and Biden has set us up for and while still refusing to reverse his actions to protect us.
This stop or I’ll say stop again ploy is worthless and the libs know it. But Putin is not playing along with it by considering it less than the deployment of weapons and cash to support the continued seceding of a Russian territory that broke away from them in the early 90’s when Soviet Russia lost power. Putin wants the Ukraine to go back to the Soviet times and the sovereignty that country once boasted.
We should either go in and fight or get out of it. We owe the Ukraine nothing and they have been a thorn in our back side for a while. This is a civil war. Let’s don’t make it into a world war.

The United States is a proxy for China in this one. China owns us lock, stock and barrel. They unleashed the Wuhan virus as revenge against Trump and similar people of independent minds. Now they are trying to not only elinate the US (gee all those supply problems) but also Russia so that the future is Chinese.
We are weak and doing China's bidding.
