The Biden administration is considering providing Ukraine with U.S.-made killer drones — cutting-edge guided missiles that could accurately target Russian tanks and artillery positions from miles away — two congressional officials briefed on the matter told NBC News.
No decisions have been made, but the officials said the White House is mulling whether to equip Ukraine with explosives-laden “loitering missiles,” called Switchblades, as part of a new package of military aid President Joe Biden is expected to discuss Wednesday.

US estimates 6000-8000 Invaders have died so far. Wounded usually around 3 to 1 ratio??? So maybe another 18000 wounded. The invaders have probably had around 25,000 killed, wounded or captured in 3 weeks from an invasion force of 150-190k.

You do have a point.
US recently has had much higher wounded:killed ratio, but that may be due to much improved emergency medicine, body armor, and circumstances of combat. Maybe the Russians are also seeing a higher ratio, they also have body armor.

Obama did the same thing in the middle east....I remember he’d warn days or weeks ahead we were gonna take a specific action and where.
Given the type of combat in Ukraine we’ve seen and read about so far I doubt those figures very much.
Plus US intelligence agencies stopped being very credible some years ago.
So when folks start trying to parse what a given number of casualties means in terms of combat effective, that number isn't really just the total minus the number of casualties. You're generally taking those casualties off a much lower number of actual combat troops.
I thought it was 60-80 thousand troops have died.....hundreds of generals too.

We are still a 1-2 years away from those numbers.
It shows a lack of resolve. The only reason to make public the fact (well, claim) that you are considering sending these weapons to Ukraine would be as a threat to Russia. If you just wanted to help Ukraine fight off the invaders, you'd simply send them weapons. In fact you'd keep it secret so the Russians wouldn't know what to prepare for.
The fact that brandon is making this public shows that he doesn't really want to do this - he's hoping to get the effect of doing it (get the Russians to back off) without having to do it. Lack of resolve. He's making it easy for Putin to call his bluff. Putin doesn't have to do anything - continue as planned - and brandon looks weak, ineffective. (because he is)
