Well, Duh! Of course the Whitehouse doesn’t DIRECTLY control oil price. This idiot obviously is unaware that they indirectly control oil production which does, indeed, control oil price. It is their regulations stifling production that has made the price so high. They’re just too stupid to recognize this.

So, when Biden said he was going to fix the high gas prices, he was lying.
To: ChicagoConservative27
Demand for oil has risen fairly consistently at 1.4%/yr for the last decade or more. That’s why the supply side of the supply/demand graph is important. Increasing supply lowers overall prices and restricting supply has the opposite effect. Equilibrium prices are met by changing supply dynamics, primarily, because oil is an inelastic commodity where only major increases may suppress some demand. When Biden killed Keystone XL and turned government ideologically against fossil fuels, it started the March in upward. Oil was up 525% from inauguration to Putin’s invasion. Since the invasion, oil is up another 25%. Don’t like it? “Get an electric car.”
You’d like to think the establishment would be concerned about this but no… this is a feature, not a problem. Gas and oil spell freedom. Electric grids and cars are easily controlled. Look at CA where people are discouraged from charging their vehicles. Loss of mobility is loss of freedom. Traditional American road-trip? In an electric car? Forget it. Something you said on social media reduced your social credit score? They can throttle your electric allowance.
Welcome to the People’s Republic of America.

But then there’s that ‘indirect control’ which is very important, dumbo.

Remind the “Global Warming” fraudsters that it is their agenda funding Putin’s war on Ukraine, higher fuel prices, and inflation.

“Out of Control” is EXACTLY how I would describe this White House. “Out of touch” is a very close second.

Really? But you want to control every other aspect of our lives.
Now you admit there are things that you can't control.
May I suggest there are a *lot* of things you can't control.
Or shouldn't even try to control.

Nothing is supposed to be under direct pricing control from any Whitehouse, you idiot. That’s how these things happen in the first place.

He also argued that no “political figure” directly controls oil and gas prices.Bull crap. Democrats have directly created the policies on many fronts that have affected the prices of everything, including oil.
