Certainly no question the Russians have the might, but there is also no question many Ukrainian’s are willing to give their lives for their country.
One thing for sure, this was not the way to win the hearts and minds of the Ukrainian people.
If/when Kiev falls, this thing will go for a long time.
From experience, when you get rocketed and burned, shot at, and lose those around you, it’s a little hard to forget that -
Operation Market Garden lasted one week and was seen as an epic failure for the Allies. This thing has gone on for 19 days and the Russians have been exposed as brutal but incompetent. They can’t coordinate anything, even a breach operation with the engineers protected by smoke and fire support positions. The Russians have two enemies in the Ukraine: the Ukranians and themselves.
So much for Ukranians being brothers and sisters to the Russians...
