ZAPORIZHZHIA, Ukraine — Russian forces are killing civilians and looting stores and homes across occupied parts of southern Ukraine, residents said, as Moscow arrested elected local leaders and sought to replace them with pro-Russian collaborators.
People arriving here from Russian-held areas over the weekend described hungry and undisciplined Russian troops shooting unarmed villagers, breaking into supermarkets and shops, and raiding homes in search of food and valuables as their own supply lines have failed.

Russia is killing the Ukraine. Any other idea is propaganda. Sure the Ukrainians are fighting.....fighting hard. This is like a junior high football team vs an NFL team. The NFL guys are trying to do a little as possible. The junior high team happens to hit the NFL guys in the nuts once in a while and it is a video sensation.....but it won’t change the outcome.
Brandon has been telling Putin for months we won’t commit troops but will use sanctions. You don’t think he has been ready for this? He sat an prepared for the next “green” president, who would probably be weak on defense.
The Ukrainians should be glad they had Trump for 4 years. They would all be speaking Russian if Hillary had won......at least those who were still alive.

It’s a hatred of the US projecting weakness that results in mass murder of thousands. I’m sure when one of our aircraft carriers is hit by Chicom missiles and sinks to the bottom of the Pacific you’ll be laughing about that, too. Ha ha. So funny. That’s where this is all headed. Russian generals probably did not appreciate that Putin held off invasion for a few weeks, forcing them to wage the war during Mud Season. That is because Xi demanded Putin to sit tight while their Olympics was underway. Indirectly Xi screwed up Russia’s battle plan, but he does not care. He may be even enjoying this.
Yes they certainly do. But as a few ‘volunteer foreign’ US soldiers have said - We didn’t realize when we came here we didn’t have a chance. They spoke of lack of armamnt, no leadership, and waking to missile strikes without anything to fight back with. They just used more colorful vocabulary to describe the conditions.

With so many foreign fighters how does anyone know who is an enemy and who is not?
I also noticd among the refugees more fathers are leaving with their families and not staying any longer to fight. One man had 3 kids and his wife who had just found a flat in Poland. Happy to say he’s going forward to a new and better life.
Would you do it if you are Russian generals in Moscow?
The Russians are starving. They are mostly going for food and look for currency during these robberies
I would think a depleted Russian army makes China’s hegemony over Russian resources (oil/gas/minerals) more possible.
