Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis criticized Disney for its opposition to the state’s parental rights legislation in a video shared by Fox News on Thursday.
“When you have companies that have made a fortune off being family-friendly and catering to families and young kids, they should understand that parents of young kids do not want this injected into their kid’s kindergarten classroom,” DeSantis said in the video. “They do not want their first graders to go and be told that they can choose an opposite gender.”
“If that’s the hill they’re [Disney] gonna die on, how do they possibly explain lining their pockets with their relationship from the Communist Party of China?” he added. “Because that’s what they do, and they make a fortune, and they don’t say a word about the really brutal practices that you see over there at the hands of the CCP.”
Disney publicly opposed a Florida bill Wednesday that bans classroom instruction on sexuality and gender identity before fourth grade, requires transparency and parental consent for health care services offered at schools, and bars school districts from requiring teachers to keep secrets from parents about decisions affecting children’s mental and physical health.

Disney isn’t dining out on any of that anymore. Disney currently dining out on having bought everyone’s childhood. Did you grow up reading Marvel comics? They own it. Watching Star Wars? They own it. Pixar movies? They own it. Anything on Fox? They own it. Or you’re an intellectual? They own National Geographic too. Disney don’t care about the chicom thing, South Park nailed them on that years ago. It’s an open secret. Like Bill Cosby.

He can’t be VP. Both Trump and DeSantis are from the same state, Florida. Can’t have 2 running mates from the same State.
