Let? There is no ban on women in the MLB. The article literally states this fact. If a woman was qualified to play I’m sure a team would grab her up for the publicity. The downside would be that if she was a backup/bench player they would be pressured to start her anyway.

The Williams sisters were easily beat, back to back, by a man ranked about 206. Easily. McEnroe said they could be beat by the top 700 seeded men, hes most likely correct.

My son played competitive baseball and in the early years there were some girls who could hold their own against the boys. One girl in particular was unhittable as a pitcher, and had a high batting avg. Her parents were sure she’d at least play high school ball. Nope. The boys got bigger, stronger and faster through puberty, obviously, and she chose softball instead at around 14. She ended up going to college on a softball scholarship. Baseball, no way.
