This, among many other reasons, is why Russia screwing around in Ukraine is not good for us or the Western World.
Others are wheat, oil, gas, pipelines, and strategic location.
We would just buy it from Russia (land formerly Ukraine), if we didn’t have idiotic leaders. They are upset in an abnormal way about Ukraine. It is not organic.
