DENVER — Prosecutors plan to drop a second-degree murder charge against a former television station security guard who shot a pro-police demonstrator following protests in downtown Denver in 2020.
Matthew Dolloff’s attorney, Douglas Richards, said the Denver District Attorney’s Office informed him by phone Thursday that prosecutors would dismiss the charge at a pre-trial hearing March 21. Dolloff did not face any other charges in the case.

Dropped charges can be picked up again by the next DA.................
I was wondering about this incident. It’s now open season against folks on the right and this case proves it.

I read about Antifa’s funding. It’s apparently mostly crowdfunding. I would actually be relieved if it turned out to be just Soros and his foundations. Our country really is screwed, for the time being.

Bingo! No license, plus he (and his employers) went out there literally looking for trouble - no "Castle Doctrine" involved at all. With all of the photographic and video evidence available, getting the shooter convicted on something (negligent homicide, manslaughter, or equivalent?) shouldn't have been an issue. The DA must be a raging Lefty, or incompetent (or both)...
Government at every level is telling us very clearly that they condone and promote left wing political violence.
It’s not a crime when they do it. It’s never a crime when they do it.
Compare this with armed people running after Rittenhouse, and he’s charged.
Either way with Antifa, they can still be declared a terrorist organization and with that the government (assuming a friendly US government) can cut off their funding.
The good news is that there is no statute of limitations for murder.
That was murder.
The video is unmistakable.
The shooter was the aggressor and reached for the other person weapon. He pushed him back and pepper sprayed him, while the other guy pulled his gun out and shot.
The Shooter NEVER attempted to disengage, he NEVER attempted to protect. This was basically just murder.
He is ‘not prosecuted’ because we have a broken criminal justice system.
