Yeah, I know.
The Jussie Smollett fiasco has had more than it’s share of publicity but .. This is much different and you might even thank me later for a good laugh!
No sure about the Illini state, but here in the Soviet of Washington, certain low level felonies are able to be sealed after 5 years if you’ve been a good boy or girl or non-binary you can petition the Superior court in the county you were convicted to seal the conviction(s) and you have the right to never mention the conviction on a job interview or anywhere, it cannot be accessed without court order or unless you reoffend.
You basically become an un-felon. Voting rights and yes even your gun rights can be restored for an additional fee.
I think all of this crazy person’s conviction would qualify for sealing. It shouldn’t this was serious beyond belief.
