That'll probably get him canceled by all of the "tolerant" people who hold opposing views...

“Remember that the Ukrainian government is incredibly corrupt and is incredibly evil and has been pushing woke ideologies.”

Just following what his DC/Soros paymasters direct him to do.

OK, that’s ONE Republican whose got it right — any others?

Waiting for the inevitable “Cawthorn’s Republican (RINO) primary opponent was, along with the local media, quick to attack Cawthorn for his doubleplus-ungood wrongthink.”

Given the uniform and overwhelming screeching and propaganda from the US media and Fed.gov - its nice to see someone questioning the narrative.

A few people are catching on, but he’s going to catch hell for this.
There are no good guys and our interference is making things worse.
The best thing we can do is pull back, announce that Ukraine will not be allowed into NATO and let Ukraine and Russia hammer out any remaining items on the peace terms.

As much as I feel for the plight of the bulk of the people of Ukraine, I cannot help but agree with this personal assessment of Zelensky.

I'll give Zelensky his credit due for his behavior after being attacked, mostly, but pre-invasion, Zelensky was quite “odd” and not to be trusted.

I don't know about Zelensky, he's only been there since 2019. His predecessors were definitely thugs.

One of Soros' darlings, Mikhail Saakashvili, was installed as the puppet President of Georgia in 2004. After he was ousted, he spent time in the U.S. and eventually the thug Poroshenko made him Governor of Odessa in 2015.

Poroshenko was a thug. Zelensky is a comedian/actor/lawyer.

Gotta have a score card to keep everything straight these days.

First question, if one can put aside what is going on there for a moment.....Is Cawthorn wrong?

The more the world learns about Ukraine the more it seems like it’s nothing more than a State Sponsored Money Laundering clearinghouse.

Doesn’t mean the innocent folks need to be going through what they are or dying, but lets not get all tear-eyed over the country’s leadership.

As far as I'm concerned, no matter who's propaganda prevails in the thuggery war, Putin lost all moral high ground when he began shelling apartments, evacuation routes, nuclear plants, and maternity hospitals.

TBH, there are no virtuous world leaders. We just support those leaders that serve our best interest at the moment.

Since when does one country being corrupt give another country (which also happens to be corrupt as hell) the right to invade? And this turd's other comment about "woke ideologies" being relevant to the invasion of Ukraine will now be taken by the left to associate Republicans who oppose wokeness as being aligned with Putin.

This guy reminds me of Beto O'Rourke. Looking at Cauthorn without knowing his background, people could think he was a fake wounded war veteran, just like O'Rourke is a fake Latino.

a deviation from mainstream Republican support of Zelensky and the Ukrainian people as they defend themselves against the Russian invasion

Mainstream Republican support? More like Washington Uniparty support. But they don't have to buy gas or worry about having enough money to buy groceries this week.

Soros’ money and his minions had Zelensky installed. If Soros owns Zelensky, he can’t possibly be good for the Ukranian people. From reports I’ve read, I understand that Putin and Soros are not friends.

Representative Madison Cawthorn is a sure enough RINO, almost a democrat! I thought he was a democrat because of his attacks on Zelensky until I looked him up in Wikipedia. I think his attack is a way to get his name in the news. The Ukrainian people were living peaceful in their land when Putin invaded. Rep. Cawthorn is mixed up about who is the thug.
