No, Putin did not attack Ukraine because Trump put a stop to the pipeline from Russia to Germany. Most of Russia’s other pipelines were in Urkaine. Once Biden okayed Nortthestorm it was a green light to hit Urkarine.
That was among the things Trump did along with opposing Nordstream 2, pursuing energy independence, sending Javelins to Ukraine , etc.

Trump didn’t go out of his way to provocation Russia by using Ukraine as his sock puppet. That his why the neocons and Deep State hated Trump so much. He didn’t want to use our military power to provoke conflicts unnecessarily.
