80% of our electric energy system is dependent on nuclear and fossil fuels for power generations.
And no, you cannot just wish really hard that “renewabes” will magically over come their efficiency, reliability and cost issues to replace our current generating system. Europe been trying to do this, with a much bigger nuclear power foot print then the US has, and it has completely failed.
The fact of the matter is fossil fuels will be a critical part of US energy production for at least the next 50-80 years. No magic combination of government anti fossil fuel regulation and media hyped climate change panic porn is going to change that reality.
The Climate Panic Porn Left, lead by Bare Shelves Biden, is trying to put the cart before the horse. They are trying to destroy the existing system with no workable replacement system available.
