I was really worried for the People's Convoy.
I had a dream, a nightmare, that a righteous cause would be subverted, undermined, made to look foolish by forces of the Swamp as the breathtaking truckers caravan arrived in the D.C. area last weekend.
It would have been easy – if they were not ALL of the right heart.
The truckers were suppressed, beyond question. The media ignored them, even – dare I say it – Fox News. The fake news didn't know what to do with them. Some of them lied about the convoy. They excoriated the truckers as dangerous zealots, skinheads, Nazis and malcontents – just like they had done with the Canadian version.
But the media had a surprise coming. You can demean people all day, but good people rise to the occasion. And these were good-hearted people – salt-of-earth human beings who were fed up with the federal government, like all of us. And this was their moment – passing through the D.C. Beltway and doing an end run against the District of Criminals.

Yeah, smart yet ineffective. I love here and on 495 yesterday the only sign of anything weird was two lonely patriots standing on an overpass with a flag.
Yell at me all you want. The good guys did nothing and accomplished nothing, just like the protest in Canada. Playing nice with the evil ones is a losing strategy.

I won’t yell at you. The participants saw what happened to the One6ers and probably decided in this case, discretion was the better part of valor. With the resources of bidung’s cabal and nearly every agency at play for the democommies, not much chance of being effective.
Yes...but that's probably better than doing something and undermining your own cause. It needed to have been done 6 months ago. Doing it now, after so many of the mandates are being rolled back, wasn't going to accomplish anything anyway.
How,is it a win when the left basically cared them to go to,the city and be arrested on trumped up charges, and they decided not to go? I know it wouldn’t have been ‘prudent for them to go there, but it seems like a loss, not a win, as the left made the city there basically off limits to them, unless they wanted to face the wrath of the left had they entered there.
The truckers in Canada exposed truedau for what he is. The masks are off now. He can’t hide fro. What he is nkw, and may very well lose the e,diction next time because of it, so,I wouldn’t say that nothing was accomplished
Yup, joe is wrong on the “win” part.
On Sunday, the convoy completely encircled the 495 Beltway with the lead truck actually passing stragglers at the end.
Every single overpass but one had anywhere from two to over 100 patriots.
I was in the convoy and saw it all. We the people are fed up.
Instead of whining about it being ineffective, why weren’t you standing on the overpass with those lone patriots?
They’re doing more than just “driving around the beltway”. There is a business side of this that is being completely ignored. They are taking steps on a Congressional level by holding serious meetings with members of Congress (which may or may not have an effect), they are planning and prioritizing their actions, and they are coordinating with local authorities to get their message across without letting the situation get out of control.
There are people who are trying to push buttons, but the majority are there for the right reasons and with the right attitudes. Just because they are not creating chaos does not mean they are not effective. IMO.

The DeepState likely videoed every one of those trucks and was prepared to fabricate some phony charge, like Jan 6th and put a bunch of them in jail, forever, without charges.
According to the truckers, liberals are now driving in and out of the convoy, proper, trying to cause accidents.
The deep state leftist demons are not happy with the truckers and that is a telling thing.
Never imagine this “accomplishes nothing”.
The Canadian truckers were successful in exposing government folly and effecting change because they took enormous risks. Our folks played it safe and got a safe result.
I spent time with one of the video guys and it looks like on one even knows they are there. Their go slow is about 55mph in the high speed lanes.
The participants saw what happened to the One6ers>>> The leader two days ago said he does not want the gov to make them another Jan 6 event. So in effect the gov’t has won. No more right to assemble for redress of grievances.

The trucker protest in Canada got four provinces to drop the mandates. Oh and Trudeau unmasked himself for all to see.
