So do they pull back to fight another day, or use nonconventional resources? The use of nonconventional would be a very short war. There seems to some misunderstanding about who would be getting nuked in this "nonconventional" war. The answer is the Ukranians first and Europe second using small tactical weapons. Maybe one or two.
The US and and Russia aren't going to start lobbing strategic weapons like ICBM's at one another.
The Ukrainians and maybe the Europeans seem to have lost sight of this.

Eh, I disagree...it works its way up. Its like pringles...nothing to stop at just one or two. Where is that in the SOP. US has no tac nuks. So a small responce isnt happening if Russia lets loose with them.
