There is no question that it has been impressed upon leaders of the "People's Convoy" that any attempt to mimic the occupation of Ottawa, Canada's capital, in Washington D.C. will be met with a swift response from the police and military. The current deployment of National Guard soldiers has been extended through Wednesday and steel security fencing remains in place around the Capitol Complex.
For the second day, participants in the convoy avoided entering Washington D.C. proper and instead did another 64-mile loop of the Capital Beltway to show their opposition to any public health measures aimed at combating the spread of the coronavirus...
Co-organizer of the convoy and Republican operative Brian Brase epxressed the concerns of many in the crowd during a mass meeting Monday morning: "I'm fearful...of them trying to do to us what they did to those involved in January 6. It is our belief they will try to do that."...
"So with that said we are making diplomatic moves," Brase said. "That means that we are not, at this time, meaning today and tomorrow, we are not and will not, go into D.C. proper," he said. As murmurs of discontent began to grow within the far-right group, Brase quickly acknowledged the divisions, adding: "Again...I know some here really, passionately want that to happen."
While the anti-vaccine caravan continues to remain encamped outside of D.C., at a later meeeting, Brase claimed that Republican Senators Ron Johnson (Wisconsin) and Ted Cruz (Texas) would be meeting with the convoy on Tuesday...

I wonder how many of these Kakisticocrats / Kleptocrats and their minions are actually afraid of the truckers driving in circles around their swamp, and how many are just going along with this idiotic propaganda for the sake of political Kabuki theater.
The organizer of the convoy has made it clear that he has no interest in entering DC.

I’d love to see the incidence of use of “far right” compared to use of “far left” in the media.
These guys are smart, and possibly read one of my earlier posts that they should stay out of D.C. and just drive in slow circles around the D.C. Beltway. It’s not illegal to drive around in circles on public roads.
I’m taking it easy and watching to see how this plays out have to wait and see what develops.
I don’t have much faith in politicians with a few exceptions like the outspoken ones Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene, Rand Paul.
Ron Johnson has opened up to those who question the COVID vax and that’s good.

But as a result, it will have no impact.
The only way “circling” would have any impact is for a thousand trailers (not mere tractor cabs) to impede traffic. They’re not really doing that. Non-story in the end.
There were plenty of people showing their support on the overpasses this weekend.
Arousing thought can be pretty powerful. Nobody has to drive into another Jan. 6 setup to make a difference.

They also are in groups and about 400 or so vehicles today with about half the trucks held in reserve at the race track. They should do small incursions and really freak out DC.

I noticed this wasn’t a national emergency
declaration. The one proposed doesn’t mean
spit. It’s posturing, and a scare tactic.
Truckers pay high road use taxes and have
every right to drive on DC’s public roads.
The truckers should lawyer up and cruise
on through followed by the hundreds of
Patriots in their own personal vehicles,
and honk away. The peoples’ convoy, the
peoples’ house. Our elected officials
don’t own DC.....we do....
