I think Barr and Sessions were two of the best AGs in my lifetime … which isn’t saying much when you see the cast of misfits who filled that position before them.

I don’t think it’s possible to do the job well. The DOJ should have been shut down years ago, and the AG relegated to the minor executive branch role it was before 1870.

Sessions was good handling the border and human trafficking. I was excited when he was appointed. But, the Russia thing was not good. Barr, I never liked and have no idea what good things he may have done while AG. Mot saying he didn’t do good things, I am mot aware of what they are. That said, since he left, he has proved to me that my original assessment of him was, at least for me, accurate.
