Drill, baby, drill.
Why aren’t companies bringing back fracking? They were making s killing when oil was $50-$80 a barrel and only stopped when it dropped to under $30 a barrel as it wasn’t economically feasable. Why haven’t they continued this in a huge way?

Why?
To get it shut down again in nine months and lose billions in order to get liberals out of a jam?

Unfortunately, that is not going to happen. The big public held companies said as much. They have a responsibility to provide a return to their shareholders, as they view this situation as temporary. In other words, what do they know that we do not?
Smaller private companies are opening up their drilling/fracking/shale because they need this cash-flow. It will not be enough though as a replacement.
Yes these dip$hiites in Washington do not understand that all these price increases in the US are caused by not being energy independent.
